The Men's singles trophy is a tall sterling silver cup (~38cm); the Women's singles trophy is a shallow silver bowl (~25cm diameter). Both are Tiffany hand-crafted, both prestigious — but the visual form differs deliberately. For paired tournaments, distinct-but-coordinated forms signal that each event has its own identity rather than duplicating one trophy.
Every USTA winner is hand-engraved on the inside of the trophy — invisible during display, discovered when the trophy is opened or examined closely. The discovered-detail effect is what makes the engraving feel like a reward. For any premium perpetual trophy, hide engraving on a non-display surface to preserve visual cleanliness.
