Medals shipped in bulk-bagged boxes rub against each other during 8-hour truck journeys to the Northeast. Even nickel plating shows hairline scuffs by arrival. Individual polybags (~฿0.50/medal) prevent contact entirely. The negligible cost is overwhelmingly justified for events more than 200km from Bangkok.

Brief Local Organizers on Pre-Event Inspection

A 5-minute unboxing inspection the day medals arrive catches manufacturing defects (off-center engraving, missing ribbons, wrong tier color) while there is still time to correct. Brief your upcountry organizer to count, inspect, and photo-confirm receipt the same day delivery lands. Issues discovered ceremony-morning are unfixable.
