Graduation Plaque Season: May Lock-In for International Schools 🎓

Most Thai international schools graduate in early-to-mid June. Honor plaques (valedictorian, salutatorian, departmental awards) need to be in your hands at least 10 days before the ceremony for final inspection and stand assembly.

Walnut Base + Brass Plate Standard

For graduation honor plaques, the canonical combination is American walnut base (180x230mm) + 100x140mm brass nameplate with laser-etched citation. Cost: ฿850-1,100 depending on engraving complexity. The combination reads as serious-adult-recognition rather than school-prize. Recipients keep these for decades.

Reserve Recipient List by Monday

Engraving needs the final recipient list at least 10 working days before delivery. Schools often finalize valedictorian only after final exam results in early June — too late. Best practice: lock the academic-distinction list by end of May using projected GPA, with a 5% buffer of blank plaques for any last-minute additions.
