Q2 Corporate Recognition Plaques: The May Order Window 💼
Mid-year corporate recognition cycles land in June and July. Ordering plaques in early May gives engravers time to verify spellings, draft the citation, and finalize materials before the rush.

Spelling Verification Takes Two Rounds
Name spellings — especially Thai-to-English transliterations and Chinese names — need two independent verifications before engraving. One verification round catches typos; the second catches incorrect transliteration conventions (Saksit vs Saksith vs Saksitt). May orders allow both rounds with calm; June rush orders allow one round with prayer.
Specific Citations Outperform Generic
“Outstanding Performance Q1 2016” reads generic. “Closed the Toyota account that anchored our Q1 2016” reads earned. Specific engravings cost the same as generic ones but communicate that someone actually noticed what the recipient did. Worth 20 minutes drafting the citation per plaque — and worth getting it right in May rather than rushing in June.
